Malaysia is not a country I had originally planned to visit. But the super cheap flights from home were too good to resist. So I did a little research and found that it is actually a pretty interesting place. I ended up spending a month in Malaysia and I’m still using KL as my hub for flights around the region. I visited Kuala Lumpur, Kota Kinabalu, Sandakan, Sepilok, Semporna and Georgetown during my trip.
The capital city of Malaysia and a shopping haven KL, as it is more commonly referred, is where I began my trip. I spent a week here to start with and came back for a couple of days after my time in Sabah.
